Is ’till death do us part’ like a 2005 Honda Civic outdated?

Love and marriage, love and marriage, go together like a…
Horse and carriage being used as method public transport has been considered inhumane by Brian Shapiro, director of the New York chapter.
He states.
“Hot asphalt, busy streets – it’s lack of quality of life – borders on cruelty.”
Being one of his reasons to have this practice banned.
Many would say it’s a bit like marriage!
In the beginning people would pledge to be together “till death do us part” but this was before the discovery of antibiotics and life was short. Daughters were pledged ‘for the purpose of producing legitimate offspring’ – was this inhumane?
At the start of a relationship the sex would be as hot as rich smelling tarmacadam then suddenly, avoided, like a busy town centre with a newly introduced low emission zone after the first flush of romance.
Just like an old car of today, if the spouse did not produce the correct level of emissions to ensure an heir she would be traded up for a newer, ‘fit for purpose’ model in order to conform with the necessary requirements to fulfil the need for male ‘primo genio’.
Women were under pressure to produce in order to ensure ‘helping hands’ to work on the land, fight in the army and, more importantly, to ensure the continuity of the aristocracy and royal bloodline.
In the old days women who did not quickly present ‘with child’ risked being cast out like a 2005 Honda Civic!
See you the next time!
