Have you ever kissed a Flower?

Have you ever kissed a flower?
Or damned a jagged Rose?

Does the fragrance of a Summer bloom
Live humbly in your nose?

When lilies mask a dying smell
The sadness and the loss
From Earth they come
And hence they go

Like us,
Earth
Blossom
Dross!

So make the most of every scent
And touch and sight and taste

An Autumn leaf
