Should true love should have restriction and are there no rules when it comes to love and marriage?
Here I will give you an outline of the current situation!
Within your own union, you make up the rules, what you do and agree to mutually is up to you as long as you stay within the realms of the law but, in times of Covid19, you are restricted when getting married!
The places where you can have your ceremony are public venues such as a hotel, registry office or a place of worship. It is also possible to arrange your wedding, Civil Ceremony in and outside, private place like a garden outside your home if it is suitable for social distancing.
The number of people who can attend depends on the level of restrictions in place at the time of the ceremony so be careful to check the updates regularly. The number of people depends on the protection level where you’re getting married.
At level 4
Up to 5 people (6 people if you need an interpreter).
- numbers include the couple, 2 witnesses, the person doing the ceremony and an interpreter if you need one
- these can be from any number of households
- you cannot have other guests there
- there’s no exceptions to the rules for children
- there’s no exceptions to the rules for photographers
- everyone should follow physical distancing rules
Levels 1, 2 and 3
Up to 20 people with the same restriction rules as level 4
Level 0
Up to 50 people.
The rules for protection levels 0 to 3 are:
- numbers include the couple, witnesses, guests and anyone employed by the couple, such as a photographer
- numbers include any children
- it does not include the person doing the ceremony or staff at a venue
- everyone should follow physical distancing rules
- there’s no limit on how many households can attend
It makes no difference if your event is civil or religious you should follow the same rulings which have been put in place by Your local City Council. These restrictions are correct at the time of publishing and you can follow these link for further information on Covid Restriction!
